Ghulam Qadir M.D

Dr. Ghulam Qadir is the President and Treasurer of the Rehmat Foundation. He is an American Board-Certified Psychiatrist with a sub-specialties in Addiction and Geriatric Psychiatry and a Certified Psychiatric Administrator. Dr. Qadir is a Fellow of the Academy of Consultation/Liaison Psychiatry and a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He has been in practice in Dearborn, Michigan since 1978. In addition, he served as chief of Psychiatry at Oakwood Healthcare for 14 years. Currently, he serves as CEO of Apex Behavioral Health Dearborn which is accredited by the Joint Commission. Dr. Qadir attended Nishtar Medical College in Multan Pakistan.

Huda Zenati

PH.D, LMSW, MS, ACSW

 

Dr. Zenati is the secretary of the Rehmat Foundation. She has been practicing psychotherapy since 1994 and currently works at Apex Behavioral Health in Dearborn, Michigan. In addition, she was previously a reporter, and an editor, and taught Journalism at Yarmouk University in Jordan. Dr. Zenati has been a speaker at multiple international conferences about mental health issues.

The involvement of Dr. Zenati as the secretary of the Rehmat Foundation adds to the Rehmat foundation’s credibility and effectiveness. Having a dedicated individual like Dr. Zenati in a leadership role suggests a structured approach to managing the foundation’s activities and initiatives.

Iltefat Hamzavi  M.D FAAD

Dr. Hamzavi earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, in Sociology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Hamzavi received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and graduated with academic honors in a variety of specialty rotations. . Dr. Hamzavi completed his residency in dermatology at Wayne State University and then spent time in Europe training at some of the world’s leading skin care centers. In 2001, Dr. Hamzavi completed an advanced one-year laser and photo-medicine fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

Dr. Hamzavi is an active clinical researcher and investigates causes and treatments for vitiligo, hidradenitis suppurativa, photomedicine, and other conditions. He has served as founding Co-Chair of the Global Vitiligo Foundation and as President of the Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation.

Dr. Hamzavi is Chairman of Hamzavi Dermatology group at USA. He is on the faculty of Global Health Medical Education Program of Rehmat Foundation. He played key role as a mentor in training of Dr. Daha.
